Haydon Kerk Motion Solutions and Pittman Motors Join Force

Joint venture to provide broad solution range to product and design engineers.

Haydon Kerk Motion Solutions and Pittman Motors, both units of AMETEK Precision Motion Control, have come together to provide product engineers access to a range of linear and rotary motion solutions available from a single source. As combined businesses within AMETEK Precision Motion Control, the Haydon Kerk and Pittman brands offer design engineers and others a line of motion products that can be customized to meet demand.    

The expanded product offering includes DC brush and brushless motors, linear actuators, precision lead screws, motorized and non-motorized linear rail and guide systems, drives, and controllers. Motor products are also available, including gearboxes, encoders, and brakes.

Supporting the Haydon Kerk Motion Solutions and Pittman brands, are global sales, applications, and design engineering teams. The combined organization is built around a business model of global reach with local support. North American design teams are located in Connecticut, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Additional field sales engineers are located throughout North America.
 
In Europe, Haydon Kerk and Pittman engineering resources are deployed in Germany, Italy, and France with support in all other countries through local organizations supported by both the US and European engineering teams. Haydon Kerk and Pittman also have design and manufacturing teams in Changzhou and Shanghai, China.
