IntegrityWare (San Diego, CA) announces the release of its new Extreme Performance Library (EXLIb), which is for companies developing visualization, measurement, optical analysis, Finite Element, NC, architecture, or other geometry-based applications.

Performing complex math operations on large data sets is common in these geometric applications, and EXLib can leverage the trend of multi-processor computer architectures because it is a multi-threaded, high-performance extension to IntegrityWare's powerful SOLIDS++ geometric modeling kernel.

EXLib takes advantage of modern multi-core computer architectures and provides multithreading of the most common and compute-intensive operations, with multi-threaded tessellation and surface/point solvers. The EXLib tessellator creates a crack-free, watertight mesh. Projecting points onto surfaces and mesh generation is now faster as EXLib can deliver up to 10x performance improvements on quad-core machines. EXLib can be integrated with applications using the SOLIDS++ kernel, or also with applications using other kernel modeling systems.
