ITI TranscenData has acquired Proficiency, a provider of feature-based CAD data translation software.

Proficiency allows ITI TranscenData to provide a large suite of solutions. Proficiency's Collaboration Gateway technology will continue to be offered through the ITI TranscenData business.

Proficiency supports interoperability between Pro/Engineer, I-deas, UG-NX, Catia V4, and Catia V5.
