JETCAM International s.a.r.l. has released version 25.12 of its flagship JETCAM Expert CAD/CAM software, introducing features that enhance productivity and automation for sheet metal and composite fabrication.

"Version 25 introduces features that directly address real-world manufacturing challenges while continuing to improve overall performance," says Martin Bailey, managing director of JETCAM International. "The Anti-Tipping Microjoints feature alone will save manufacturers significant time and reduce potentially expensive head crashes by preventing parts from becoming unstable during cutting."

Additional enhancements include:

  • Nine new postprocessors supporting machines from Murata, Pathfinder, Mitsubishi, HK Laser, Eastman, Boschert, Oree, FlexiCAM, and Houfek
  • Updates to multiple existing postprocessors to support new machine capabilities including JET-Cut automatic fly cutting functionality.
  • Improved simulator performance with enhanced path optimization and simulation speed.
  • Enhanced Remote Control Processing (RCP) with template nesting support and custom NC file path options.
  • New hole size limit options for sheet usage efficiency calculations.
  • Support for tighter CrossTrack application integration via a new direct communications platform.
  • Hundreds of bug fixes and stability improvements across all modules.

JETCAM Expert v25 is available immediately for free for customers with current maintenance contracts.
