It incorporates the use of a multi-component piezoelectric force sensor, offering a Fz measurement range of up to 5 kN, while ensuring very low cross-talk and excellent center of pressure (COP) accuracy, the company says. The force plate features a compact, lightweight aluminum composite top for a total weight of less than 22 pounds (10 kilograms), allowing for portable use on any flat surface. The top plate may also be covered with any type of flooring material without negative effects on offset or linearity.
The unit is available in two sizes, as either the Type 9260AA6 (500 x 600 millimeters) or the Type 9260AA3 (500 x 300 millimeters). The sensor connector is located underneath the force plate, allowing for ease of installation with reduced setup time and maintenance costs.
