The newest version of Kubotek USA's KeyMarkUp Multi-CAD Viewer has been officially released. It gives users the ability to view almost three-dozen file formats, and also aids in estimating, quoting, collaboration and communication without CAD software.

KeyMarkUp adds to its suite of multi-CAD viewing/export capabilities by adding a brand new add-on module for the JT file type. JT is a compact ISO-standardized, neutral data format. It is often used in application processes after geometry creation.

Other improvements include the update of file importers, the import of CADDS 3D files, and improved CGM Export, especially for technical documentation. KeyMarkUp can quickly open very large assembly files and nearly all of the most popular 2D and 3D CAD formats including CATIA V4 and CATIA V5 (2D and 3D), Pro/Engineer and Creo (2D and 3D), JT Open, I-DEAS, 3D XML, VDA-FS, SolidWorks (2D and 3D), and Siemens PLM NX.

The quick open option, which gives users a fast way to open large assembly files, is now combined with the precise open option. The structure-tree has also been enhanced to display meta-data and other important file information.
