mechatroniX, the international trade fair for applied mechatronics, will be held in 2009 within the framework of German-language workshops as an accompanying technical exhibition on June 16 at the Augsburg Exhibition Centre in Germany.

“The trade fair topic was met with great interest on the part of potential exhibitors, but due to the current economic situation participation at the event is out of the question this year for many companies,” explains Hartmut Herdin, managing director of private trade fair promoters fairXperts GmbH. “The visitor target groups have also reacted positively to the fact that mechatronics will have its own presentation and procurement platform. This is why we’ve decided to organize German language workshops regarding various topics covering all aspects of mechatronics together with ‘Cluster Mechatronik & Automation,’ and to supplement this event with an accompanying technical exhibition.

The concept of mechatroniX as an international trade fair for applied mechatronics lasting for several days will be implemented by the promoters at a later point in time.
