Mentor Graphics Acquires Flexras Technologies

Mentor Graphics has acquired Flexras Technologies, a developer of technologies that reduce time for prototyping and validating. The company also offers devices that debug integrated circuits and systems on chip.

According to a company press release, Flexras' timing-driving partitioning technology will expand the tools available from Mentor and help engineers solve issues that arise during design prototyping.

“We’re extremely pleased to have the Flexras team join Mentor Graphics,” said John Lenyo, vice president and general manager of Design Verification Technology Division at Mentor. “We’re committed to helping our customers reduce the risks and costs associated with design prototyping and Flexras has proven to be a visionary in this area.”
