Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH, a subsidiary of Messe Frankfurt, will host the formnext exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany, this November. The show is sponsored by TCT, an organization aligned with the additive manufacturing (AM), production and trade show community for several decades.

The conference, according to a company press release, will provide  attendees a look at a production technology and software for AM. Topics covered will be tool and form-making, machine tools/automation, basic materials and components, and technology/quality assurance.

"Production today faces many challenges in terms of energy efficiency, material and weight saving, customization of products, and global production rollouts. formnext shows how these challenges can be overcome as early as in the product development phase," says Sascha Wenzler, division manager for formnext at Mesago. "Additive technologies, in particular, present tremendous opportunities for the industry both for product development and production. So we are delighted to be able to give visitors a particularly comprehensive and valuable offering with this specialized exhibition. The internationally renowned companies in the field of additive technologies will showcase their expertise at formnext."
