meviy, an on-demand custom parts manufacturing service developed by MISUMI Group, Inc., has upgraded its sheet metal processing capabilities. Engineers and designers can now work with increased inch-based thicknesses and a broader range of supported hole sizes, including tapped and countersunk hole options, according to the MISUMI Group.

This latest update offers more design freedom while maintaining speed and simplicity, according to MISUM Group. With enhanced support for sheet thicknesses up to 0.5 inches, and bending available up to 0.25 inches, customers can shift more parts from milled components to sheet metal.

Enhancements Include:

  • Sheet thickness supported up to 0.5 inch
  • Bending available for thicknesses up to 0.25 inch
  • Expanded hole size range

By streamlining the quoting and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) process, meviy enables users to move from concept to production. Upload your 3D CAD data, set your specs, and receive precision-manufactured parts to exact requirements.

The update is made for:

  • Equipment bases
  • Machine frames
  • Fixture plates
  • Projects requiring low-precision structural components
