MiMiC v3.1.0 Released By MYNAH Technologies

The 3.1.0 release includes multi-user support, an updated operator training manager engine, an enhanced OPC Server, and a new HIMA simulation interface.

MYNAH Technologies (Chesterfield, MO) announced that all current MiMiC users are encouraged to upgrade to MiMiC v3.1.0 at the MiMiC Software Distribution Site. The 3.1.0 release includes multi-user support, an updated operator training manager engine, an enhanced OPC Server, and a new HIMA simulation interface.

The new release contains major enhancements to Simulation Studio and Component Studio. Using simulation for testing and training for automation systems offers benefits for capital project execution and operational excellence initiatives. MiMiC v2 Software Support Renewals will be available for all non-current MiMiC sites until December 31, 2008. After December 31, 2008, MiMiC v2.x sites will not be eligible for upgrade to MiMiC v3.

MiMiC v3.1.0 Release Notes indicate that the previous released version is 3.0.6. The update / installation procedures are documented. This version of the software contains multi-user support, updated OTM engine, enhanced OPC Server, new HIMA simulation interface, enhanced Simulation Studio, and enhanced Component Studio. Other issues have been corrected.
