MSC Software announced that in collaboration with HBM-nCode Products, the company is offering a new fatigue materials testing service that delivers Stress- Life and Strain-Life materials data sets, as well as more advanced bespoke testing services.

According to the company, the new services offering will enable customers to improve their durability predictions by providing more accurate material data. The service includes quality assurance testing, Strain-Life Fatigue test data curve production, bespoke fatigue testing, and test coupon production.

"A high percentage of design operating failures and warranty costs are due to fatigue life issues," said Bert Knops, vice president of global services at MSC Software. "We are eager to continue expanding our portfolio of advanced fatigue analyses and services. The ability to accurately determine the material data required for such analyses by means of materials testing is integral to helping customers improve the quality of their products."
