NextComputing (Nashua, NH) announces the availability of NVIDIA's Quadro FX 4600 SDI and Quadro FX 5600 SDI (serial data interface) on its portable, NextDimension Evo HD workstation. Equipped with dual, quad-core processors from AMD or Intel, the compact Evo HD is a hardware platform suited for production fieldwork with applications such as IRIDAS' SpeedGrade XR, or RT Software's tOG suite of real-time 3D broadcast graphics software.

Broadcast, video, and film professionals engaged in editing, compositing, and color grading benefit from the advanced features of NVIDIA Quadro FX 5600 SDI and Quadro FX 4600 SDI graphics cards. These next-generation graphics-to-video-out solutions are made portable with the Evo HD.

SpeedGrade XR, a recently launched color correction application from IRIDAS, offers the industry's only GPU-based de-Bayering of RAW footage for real-time review and grading. Designed to work as a companion system for the latest digital cinema cameras, SpeedGrade XR is the only application offering filmmakers instant access to all available RAW formats. The NVIDIA Quadro FX 4600 and 5600 SDI boards from PNY provide the critical graphics hardware for SpeedGrade XR, and NextComputing has certified its NextDimension Evo HD portable workstations for the applications.
