Nutanix Virtual Platform Announces Agreement With Dell

Nutanix, a provider of datacenter infrastructure solutions, has signed an original equipment manufacturing (OEM) agreement with Dell to create a line of hardware based on Nutanix web-scale technology. This collaboration is designed to deliver web-scale technology to enterprises of any size, a company press release states.

The Dell XC Series of Converged Appliances will be available to meet a wide range of price and performance options. Nutanix's web-scale software runs on all popular virtualization hypervisors, including VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V and open source KVM.
