NVIDIA has announced that a limited number of passes remain for its GPU Technology Conference scheduled for September 30" October 2, 2009 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, CA. NVIDIA says the GPU Technology Conference is the most significant event in 2009 dedicated to application development on the GPU.
The conference will encompass three simultaneous summits and focus on the latest breakthroughs developers, engineers, and researchers are achieving through the use of the graphics processing unit (GPU) to solve the worlds most important computing challenges.
The GPU Technology Conference will feature keynotes from Jen-Hsun Huang, CEO and co-founder of NVIDIA, Hanspeter Pfister, professor and computing visionary at Harvard, and Richard Kerris, CTO of Lucasfilm. The event will cover topics in GPU computing in both graphics and general computing, including computer vision, advanced visualization, image processing, and high-performance computing. It will also feature sessions on industry-specific topics in the medical and life sciences, aerospace and automotive, and energy exploration.
