Origin International Inc. (Markham, Ontario, Canada) released CheckMate Version 12, a CAD-based solution for dimensional metrology and dimensional related part and process problem solving.
This release includes new features in Dimensional Planner, Programming, Reporting, and SoftFit as well as interface enhancements and the introduction of point cloud processing for customers with laser scanning equipment.
Also at this time, CheckMate Engine (CME) is available for customer shipment. CME is a non-CAD-based entry that enables stand-alone and CMM run-time execution of scripts generated from CheckMate V12 for SoftFit and Reporting tasks as well as a CMM language translator.
