PacifiCAD, an Autodesk authorized value added reseller and training center, has released new custom software packages to help customers manage software licenses, understand usage patterns, and reset AutoCAD products that have become unstable.

LMsnap is designed for the administrators of networked CAD products such as Autodesk, Dassault, and ESRI. By taking a snapshot of the network license usage, it allows the CAD manager to see who is using the products served from LMtools, providing a better understanding of how its licenses are being utilized.

PCcomply is a self-managed application audit and compliance tool. It allows a network administrator to see what products (Autodesk or other) are installed on which machines. PCcomply PRO is a service offered by PacifiCAD to help a business setup, run, and analyze the results of PCcomply on users network.

Users of AutoCAD (or any of its vertical products) can now quickly restore AutoCAD back to its original state at installation with the use of CADrevive.

"These tools are very easy to use and designed to help our customers better understand how they're using their software so they can make informed decisions on increasing or decreasing available seats," said Ryan Naccarato, IT manager and lead developer at PacifiCAD. "This is just the first set of tools we're releasing in a series of innovative custom software solutions."
