Progman Oy, an HVAC and electrical design software provider, has released a new version of the MEP design software MagiCAD. The new MagiCAD 2012.11 for AutoCAD and Revit technologies introduces new functionalities for ventilation, heating, piping, sprinkler and electrical design, as well as for indoor climate control and energy-efficiency optimization. The release also adds new automated functionalities for drawing, routing and connecting HVAC and electrical products.

The solution harmonizes functions between MagiCAD for AutoCAD and MagiCAD for Revit, and enables sprinkler network calculations now also in MagiCAD for Revit. It makes it easier for designers to work in both AutoCAD and Revit environments and to leverage the benefits of Revit's Building Information Modeling (BIM) capabilities. MagiCAD for AutoCAD has also been fitted with a BIM Collaboration Tool to facilitate better information exchange and interoperability in BIM projects.

MagiCAD offers localization for English, German, French (MagiCAD for Revit only), Chinese and Russian languages.
