Puget Technologies announced it has launched a new division that will acquire existing companies in the 3D printing market. The company has begun discussions with several potential acquisition candidates who have existing 3D printers or provide required printing supplies and accessories.

"There is no more exciting business to pursue right now than 3D printing. During the next several years, 3D printers and their associated products will literally change the world around us," said Ron Leyland, president and CEO of Puget. "In the not too distant future, instead of shipping a physical item, retailers will simply transfer 'blueprints' straight to our 3D printers, resulting in instant delivery of an almost endless number of goods."

The company has launched a revamped website providing more information on its business segments at www.pugettechnic.com.
