QuadriSpace Corporation (Allen, TX) announced that the Document3D product line supports SolidWorks 2009. QuadriSpace products for 3D-based documentation solutions offer low-cost, ease-of-use, and document-focused features set.

QuadriSpace's 2008 Service Pack 2 includes updated importers that allow users to import SolidWorks 2009 models directly into page design or illustration software. 3D CAD software is not required, so non-engineering users can create documents, illustrations, and animations for a reasonable price and with a product that is as easy to use and install as Microsoft Office. The Document3D Suite supports publishing to print, web, and interactive 3D, including 3D PDF. Service Pack 2 improves support for other file formats such as Pro/ENGINEER, Inventor, Google SketchUp, Autodesk DWF and more.
