3D Systems Corporation (Rock Hill, SC) announced that Realize Inc. (Noblesville, IN) has purchased an iPro 9000 SLA Precision Center to increase its large-part manufacturing capabilities.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2009, Realize purchased the iPro 9000, its sixth SLA System from 3D Systems, in order to respond to the increased customer demand for large, single-piece parts built from 3D Systems’ integrated portfolio of Accura Plastics.

Features of the iPro 9000 SLA Center include its ability to quickly and economically produce durable plastic parts with surface smoothness, feature resolution, edge definition and tolerances that are said to be close to the accuracy of CNC-machined plastic parts. iPro 9000 SLA Precision Center also includes the SteadyPower Imager, which allows the Center to deliver consistent, reliable output with faster build speeds and lower part cost.
