Sabalcore Computing Teams with Azore on CFD Solution

Customers will be able to leverage on-demand computing resources for project-to-project work flow improvements.

Sabalcore Computing has announced a partnership with Azore Technologies, a provider of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software.

"CFD is an important and fast growing area for engineering and design," said Sabalcore president John D. Van Workum. "We are very excited about the partnership. Together, Azore and Sabalcore will be able to provide our customers with a cost effective integrated CFD solution."

Azore develops, distributes, and supports applied engineering numerical analysis software. The company's flagship product, Azore, is a CFD tool that is used to analyze industrial situations involving fluid dynamic physics via CFD techniques. The software design of Azore allows it to be used in a multi-vendor environment, providing tools to transfer simulation results between different software tools such as the ANSYS-Fluent CFD tools.

Sabalcore provides remote access to high-performance computing resources on-demand. This enables engineers to take advantage of large parallel computing systems without the upfront investment in computer hardware, long-term utility and cooling costs, and maintenance.

Via the partnership, customers will be able to access hardware and software for long-term production needs when parallel hardware are not available internally; leverage on-demand computing resources for project-to-project work flow improvements; and access Azore with a flat licensing cost independent of the number of compute nodes that are used.

Users can access Azore for a test or trial using a 500 core-hour trial account through Sabalcore. Users can then access the service in a pay-as-you-go model for further development, or purchase monthly packages of core hours at discount pricing.
