Siemens PLM Software (Plano, TX) announced new releases of four of its industry-leading D-Cubed component software products: Version 39.0 of 3D Dimensional Constraint Manager (3D DCM), Assembly Engineering Manager (AEM), Collision Detection Manager (CDM), and Hidden Line Manager (HLM) — all four contain new enhancements to improve function and performance.

Version 39.0 of the 3D DCM, a software component that positions parts in assemblies, simulates their kinematic motion, and parametrically controls the configuration of 3D sketches and the shape of parts, offers an integration and performance enhancement in thread safety, performance enhancements in parallel processing and spline length constraints, and functional enhancement with a new diagnostic information for over-defined models.

The latest release of the D-Cubed CDM, version 39.0, is a software component that accurately and rapidly detects collisions and computes clearances. New enhancements specific to version 39.0 include integration and performance enhancement in thread safety; a functionality enhancement for clearance computations, and a reliability enhancement for collision computations.

The latest release of the D-Cubed AEM, version 39.0, a software component that provides a more realistic and productive assembly environment particularly reliability enhancement in contact computations.

And the latest release of the D-Cubed HLM, version 39.0 is a software component that accurately and rapidly computes hidden line views. New enhancements include integration and performance enhancement in thread safety; a reliability and performance enhancement is for tolerant models; a reliability enhancement for surface-based models; and reliability and performance enhancement for rolling ball surfaces.
