Simpoe-Mold 2009

SIMPOE SAS (Torcy, France), a French software developer specializing in plastic injection molding simulation solutions, announced SimpoeLINK-V5, a dedicated interface to read CATIA V5 model files in their native format for direct analysis with Simpoe-Mold plastic injection simulation software.

With SimpoeLINK-V5, Simpoe-Mold users can directly and automatically import CATIA V5 model files into Simpoe-Mold for simulation analysis, without having to worry about exporting these model files into a neutral format, such as STEP or IGES. SimpoeLINK-V5 will check the integrity of the part, and suppress the time consuming task of transferring the model file through a neutral format, allowing Simpoe-Mold users to focus on the analysis for part design and manufacturing optimization.

The company says there is no difference between the interface of Simpoe-Mold 2009 and SimpoeLINK-V5. SimpoeLINK-V5 is a plug-in integrated in Simpoe-Mold 2009 allowing users to read CATIA V5 model files directly in their native format.
