SolidProfessor, provider of on-demand training for engineers, has acquired online training solution Streamingteacher. This acquisition will add over 160 hours of Mastercam training content to SolidProfessor’s online training platform.

“We are extremely excited about acquiring Streamingteacher,” says SolidProfessor’s CEO and co-founder Tony Glockler. “By adding more Mastercam tutorials to our course library, we can further our mission of sharpening the minds that will design our future.”

“Engineers use Mastercam more than any other CAM software, and SolidProfessor wants to ensure our platform can train engineers and engineering students on how to most effectively design 2D and 3D geometry for manufacturing,” says Pedro Santana, President and co-founder of SolidProfessor.

SolidProfessor and Streamingteacher commercial and academic customers will soon have access to more training content.

"Streamingteacher has been successful by always putting the interests of the manufacturing community first," says Streamingteacher President Lori Rowley. "With SolidProfessor, the Mastercam training content our team has worked hard to develop can evolve and scale to reach more engineers and manufacturers, and ultimately serve our community better."
