The integration allows users to apply KeyShot materials directly inside SpaceClaim Engineer and access Luxion's LiveLinking technology. LiveLink can send geometry updates directly into KeyShot without losing material assignments or other settings.
With the new KeyShot capabilities, design engineers can access over 500 materials and can render models by simply clicking "Render" within SpaceClaim Engineer. Within the software, it is then possible to modify materials, change colors and camera views, add lighting and send design changes.
“SpaceClaim Engineer is an incredibly versatile tool for 3D modeling,” said Claus Wann Jensen, CEO at Luxion. “To see this with 'KeyShot for SpaceClaim' brings phenomenal power to the product development process. With more flexibility in design and rendering, it not only makes the workflow faster and more efficient, but also makes the creation of 3D visuals even faster than before.”
KeyShot for SpaceClaim will be available in three editions: HD Lite, HD for SpaceClaim and KeyShot Pro.
