Techno Releases New Pro Series 4896 CNC Router Model

Techno, Inc. CNC Routers has released the Model 4896 Pro Series of CNC routers. Introduced earlier this year, the Pro Series was designed to meet the demands of panel process manufacturing.

Techno's engineers utilized finite element analysis (FEA) to provide load characteristic analyses of the machine's components, ultimately determining whether material improvements were required to build a better machine, or if different building strategies would be viable to reduce the cost without sacrificing quality.

The welded and stress-relieved base is the foundation for Techno's precision drive system. Equipped with a moving gantry that requires less space, precision ball screw drives on all three axes, THK rails/bearings, and closed-loop servomotors and drives, this new design ensures minimal maintenance. The Pro Series can also be equipped with a variety of single- to multi-spindle setups for high volume part production, multi-zone vacuum table, reverse engineering lasers, 4th axis rotary tables and more.

Every machine also receives Techno's Windows-based CNC Servo G-Code Interface.

The 4896 model has a 4-x-8-ft. process area and a base price of $30,000.
