TraceParts' 3D library of suppliers and standard parts catalogs has been certified for Autodesk Inventor 2013 3D mechanical design software through the Autodesk Inventor Certified Applications Program. SigmaTEK Systems' SigmaNEST product was also awarded Inventor 2013 certification as well.

TracePartsOnline.net 3D component library offers more than 100 million 3D CAD models and 2D drawings, including both industry standards as well as products from hundreds of manufacturers catalogs used by the tooling, machinery, aerospace and automotive industries. Users can browse or search for products, configure product options, create dynamic 3D previews, and insert native Inventor 3D models directly into their designs together with their rich Bill of Materials (BoM) attributes.

"We are extremely pleased to be once again the first 3D Parts Library to reach the Autodesk Inventor 2013 Certification," said Gabriel Guigue, TraceParts Managing Director. "Time to market is crucial to Autodesk Inventor customers, and we know that over 80 percent of CAD models that mechanical designers add to their parts list are later purchased. This is why we strongly believe this Inventor 2013 certification will bring fantastic additional marketing exposure to our hundreds of 3D catalogs."

SigmaNEST is a CAD/CAM nesting software for plasma, laser, punch, oxyfuel, waterjet, router, knife, tube/pipe and combination cutting machines.  The solution ensures optimal material utilization, machine motion optimization, and maximum part quality balanced with cutting speed, work flow integration, material handling, accurate estimates and information management.

We are proud to continue our long-standing partnership with Autodesk and its global user community," said SigmaNEST Product Manager James Lindsey. "As Inventor continues to expand in functionality and use it is important that companion tools continue to advance and leverage CAD model usage while providing a practical connection to the shop floor. We are happy to be entrusted with meeting the growing demands of Autodesk and its customers.
