Velocity Micro has announced the availability of its desktop PCs powered by the newest additions to the Intel family of processors, the Intel Core i5-750, Core i7-860 processor, and Core i7-870 processor. Configurations start at $1,099.

The new line of processors mark the emergence of Intel’s socket 1156 products. Built on the Nehalem architecture, the socket 1156 processors provide enthusiast power at an attainable value, ideal for gaming, digital media creation, and other CPU-intensive applications on more of a budget. Velocity Micro will feature the Core i5-750, Core i7-860, and Core i7-870 along with the Intel P55 Express chipset in its Vector Z35 and Edge Z30.
