Verisurf Software is offering customers who trade in the basic metrology software that originally came with their CMM or other metrology device a 50% credit toward the Verisurf X Software Suite. Verisurf is also offering a free reverse software module for all show goers who purchase the new Master3DGage solution by October 29.

“Portable CMMs come with basic metrology software that offers limited device support, rudimentary 3D functionality and little inspection automation; and this ultimately hinders productivity gains by the customer,” according to David Olson, director of sales and marketing at Verisurf. “That is why we are offering IMTS attendees the opportunity to trade-in the less capable software that came with their device and receive a 50% credit towards the more powerful Verisurf X Software Suite.”

The company will also give a live demonstration of Verisurf X at its booth. Master3DGage – an automated measuring solution consisting of a portable CMM arm and integrated Verisurf X software – will also be demonstrated. Verisurf will hand out a white paper that explains how leaving 2D drawings behind in favor of 3D model-based definition and inspection can save both time and money.
