VPT Adds Radiation Lab and Testing Services Facility

VPT Inc. has added VPT Rad, a radiation lab and test services facility, to its offerings. The lab is focused on providing for the aerospace electronic manufacturing industry.

Based in Chelmsford, MA, the 5,000 square-foot facility offers specialized environments and equipment for evaluating electronics in ionized radiation, a company press release states. VPT Rad has turn-key solutions at both high and low dose rates with its total ionizing dose GC-200 irradiator.

VPT Rad meets MIL-STD-750 and MIL-STD-883 requirements and is approved for Source Suitability from the Defense Logistics Agency.
