Vuuch announced it will support the 2013 manufacturing software portfolio from Autodesk, including the new Autodesk Product Design Suite.

The new suites provide a broad range of cloud services to help manufacturers more efficiently design, build and deliver products, and potentially reduce costs. Vuuch is embedding its enterprise social software into Autodesk Design Suites for manufacturers. According to the company, the integration of Vuuch collaborative product development solutions provides deeper collaboration throughout the product development process for mutual customers of Autodesk and Vuuch, the company says.

"Vuuch social product development capabilities extend community and project execution functionality across the Autodesk Product Design Suite," said Chris Williams, CEO and founder of Vuuch. "Autodesk has a stellar track record for delivering important products to market by working closely with partners. When coupled with the company's commitment to the cloud, partnering with Autodesk was an easy decision."

"The Autodesk 2013 portfolio provides our customers with a faster path to product development and delivery ROI," said Robert "Buzz" Kross, Autodesk senior vice president. "Vuuch's solution extends our design technology with valuable collaborative functionality. And combining Vuuch with Autodesk 360 cloud services allows customers to capture a more complete record of the development process."

Vuuch will support AutoCAD 2013, AutoCAD 2012, Inventor 2013, and Inventor 2012.
