Aleph Objects is Printing Printers at CES 2018

According to the company, the entire manufacturing process will happen live on the floor, and attendees will have a chance to win one of the 20 limited-edition CES-built printers, along with accessories and filament.

"Our ‘show floor factory’ is not a proof of concept, we’ve been using 3D printers in production since 2011,” Aleph Objects President Harris Kenny said. “Evolved makers around the world are transforming manufacturing with LulzBot 3D Printers. We encourage you to join us and make everything.”

Alpha Objects already uses 3D printers in its own manufacturing operation in Loveland, CO. Currently, more than 150 LulzBot 3D printers are in service, printing custom components for additional printers. The company runs through 50kg of filament a day.

At CES, the company is creating a mini-cluster of nine printers to produce parts.

LulzBot will also announce three new printer accessories at the show, including Aerostruder Tool Heads for the LulzBot TAZ and LulzBot Mini, as well as the LulzBot Mini LCD Controller.

The company will also exhibit the new LulzBot TAX Dual Extruder Tool Head v3, the Modular Print Bed Systems for the TAX and Mini, and a new version of the Cura LulzBot Edition.

The LulzBot display will be set up in booth 8700 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

CES 2018 takes place Jan. 9 – 12.
