Theorem Solutions announced the availability of their latest visualization products, which can help resolve the issue of sharing data between the Autodesk Inventor and PTC Creo View formats.
Theorem's Autodesk Inventor Adapter for Creo View (formerly ProductView) rapidly and accurately publishes 3D mechanical design geometry parts, assemblies and 2D drawings, together with attribute information to the compact format used by the Creo View application.
Now available on both Windows 32-bit and 64-bit platforms, users can digitally mock-up and interrogate native Inventor data within the Creo View environment. The adapter can be integrated into WindChill, DIVISION Graphics Server or other PDM environments.
To improve the performance of an overall conversion process, the user may select a subset of the input Inventor data to be processed, allowing the conversion process to operate on only those items that are of specific interest to the user.
