Dassault Systèmes appoints Fabrice Canonge, 53, as chief executive officer of its brand Centric Software. Canonge succeeds Chris Groves, who founded Centric Software in 2004 and will now move into a senior advisory role with Dassault Systèmes.
Dassault Systèmes reports that Canonge will be responsible for defining the brand’s strategic software as a service roadmap to meet customers’ demands, and for expanding its market leadership with a new generation of AI-powered solutions on the cloud.
With nearly three decades of experience in business development in the software industry, Canonge brings specific expertise in the apparel, high-fashion, luxury goods and retail sectors. He joined Centric Software in 2004 to lead its European operations, and was later named executive vice president of Global Sales and Marketing before becoming chief operating officer and president. He has played a major role in the growth of Centric Software, particularly in its go-to market strategy, its expansion to 56 countries, and in securing many visible brands as customers, such as Hugo Boss, Lacoste and Asics.
Centric Software delivers integrated, AI-powered enterprise solutions in the luxury, footwear, outdoor, home, consumer electronics, and other retail sectors.
