April 8, 2013

e-on software announced the immediate availability of LumenRT 4 Studio, its immersive 3D nature technology.

New capabilities include Bentley MicroStation integration; a Revit plug-in; generic 3D file import; LiveCube settings menu; large-scale scenery handling; an animation editor; IES point and spot lights; night-time skies; moving vehicles; and an enhanced and expanded plant library.

The solution can be used to transform 3D models and designs into rich, nature-filled videos, images and real-time immersive experiences, the company says. According to e-on: "The primary value proposition of LumenRT Immersive Nature is to win business by packaging ideas and designs into compelling stories," the company said in a release. "With LumenRT, ideas come alive and designs are more fully understood by all participants. By presenting and sharing a more complete design experience, LumenRT users have reported transformative results with higher client win percentages, improved quality and fewer downstream errors."
