Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence has launched APOLLO, an AI-driven platform designed to transform how manufacturers manage their metrology assets. APOLLO provides real-time predictive condition monitoring for Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and machine tools.

By leveraging advanced AI analytics, the platform monitors machine behavior, environmental conditions, and operational status to detect anomalies. It identifies patterns indicating potential defects or failures up to 90 days in advance.

APOLLO, compatible with Hexagon and third-party devices, provides a unified dashboard for fleet-wide asset health visibility, supporting cloud deployment for rapid scalability or on-premises installation to meet strict data sovereignty and cybersecurity requirements.

"Manufacturers can’t afford unexpected metrology downtime," says Gary Peacock, vice president Product Technology Software at Hexagon. "APOLLO brings automated intelligence to asset monitoring, enabling teams to detect issues early, plan maintenance proactively, and protect both measurement accuracy and production schedule."

APOLLO replaces manual logs and undocumented institutional knowledge with data-driven insights. By identifying underperforming assets and optimizing maintenance cycles based on actual usage and environmental conditions, the platform helps stabilize measurement performance, reduce drift, and increase throughput without compromising quality standards.
