Luxion Names Claus Thorsgaard as New CEO

Luxion appoints Claus Thorsgaard as CEO for the company.

Claus Thorsgaard joins Luxion with extensive, international leadership experience, most recently as CEO at Conscia, a European provider of security and IT infrastructure solutions. Prior to Conscia, Claus was executive VP of Global Sales at Deltek, a global provider of software and cloud-based business systems based in the U.S. Claus Thorsgaard will bring deep global software experience to the existing Luxion leadership guiding the team in the next growth phase.

Claus Thorsgaard takes over as CEO from the co-founders, Claus and Henrik Wann Jensen, who have led the company since its inception in 2003. The organizational change will ensure that Henrik and Claus Wann Jensen can dedicate their focus on further developing the software for 3D product design rendering, KeyShot, which is used by more than 10,000 customers globally and sold by resellers across 80+ countries.

New Board Members

In addition to the appointment of Claus Thorsgaard as CEO, Luxion also appoints Torben Brandt Munch as chairman and Mikael Boyum as an ordinary member of the Luxion Board of Directors. Both bring vast experience from international software companies: Torben Brandt Munch is former CEO at Itiviti, a leading provider of trading and connectivity technology to the capital markets industry and serves as chairman in several GRO Capital portfolio companies, and Mikael Boyum is CEO at Boyum IT Solutions, company in manufacturing, warehousing, and usability software solutions in the SAP Business One ecosystem.
