MachineWorks will be displaying a range of demos showing the new features of the company's software. The updated application includes "intelligent multithreading" and support for mobile operating systems. The algorithms, according to the company, have been optimized to increased their performance while maintaining stability.
CNC control manufacturers FANUC and FIDIA will also be featured in the MachineWorks display area illustrating how the company's software drives their simulation. Rather than using sampling technology, MachineWorks uses the swept volume to ensure collisions do not occur in the machine's envelope.
The MachineWorks platform also offers modeling to detect gouges and clashes. Its libraries include solutions that range from simple tool and stock simulation to a complex real-time anti-collision system.
