June 26, 2015

Makino, a provider of CNC (computer numerically controlled) machining centers and technologies, has joined the Siemens PLM Software Solution Partner Program. This partnership, according to the company, means that Makino can augment its products and services with the NX software.

The adoption of NX allows engineers at Makino to clearly and seamlessly view and work with part designs in the customer's native format, a press release states. The company plans to extend its offering of Siemens' NX to the aerospace and OEM (original equipment manufacturer) industries.

“Siemens PLM Software is committed to creating partnerships to help enhance the end-user experience of our customers. We are pleased to work with Makino to provide open, integrated solutions that improve the productivity of our mutual customers,” said Vynce Paradise, senior director, NX CAM, Siemens PLM Software.
