QMC LLC has announced the release of the CM4D Reporter with Process Control for FARO, a product designed for FARO Technologies, Inc., a provider of portable measurement and imaging solutions.

QMC Introduces Integrated Solution for Graphical Trending and statistical process control for FARO

Built on QMC's CM4D software, the CM4D Reporter with Process Control is an end-of-arm (and tracker) solution for graphical trend reporting and statistical process control, for use with FARO products. Featuring a set of statistical charts and tools, interactive 3D models, filtering capabilities and data management, it provides gauge-level inspection reporting.

"In the past, our customers were required to go through a manual process to chart and analyze the data for more than one piece at a time, using tools that were not optimized for the job, such as Microsoft Excel," says FARO's Vice President of Sales for the Americas, Pete Edmonds. "With the CM4D Reporter, our customers can now see and analyze the results of their measurements instantly with no manual processing—and with interactive visuals that clearly identify each measurement feature. This saves our customers time and frees up needed resources."

For quality-conscious manufacturers, the CM4D Reporter with Process Control offers an upgrade path to having a single data management and reporting platform for all their measurement devices.  Powered by DataSmith, a data parsing device, CM4D software supports virtually any brand and type of measurement device on the market, according to the company.
