Siemens Expands NX Capabilities on Rescale

By DE Editors

October 13, 2015

Siemens PLM Software has expanded its NX simulation offering on Rescale's HPC (high-performance computing) platform. Now engineers can access toolsets to perform thermal and fluid flow analysis. This addition, the company states, provides users a broader selection of Siemens' simulation products in a scalable environment.

Engineers can access NX solvers on the Rescale cloud environment with their own software licenses or pay-per-user through Rescale.

“We are excited to expand the portfolio of simulation tools available on Rescale’s simulation platform with NX Flow and NX Thermal solvers,” said Jim Rusk, senior vice president, Product Engineering Software, Siemens PLM Software. “As customers increasingly look to move to more flexible, scalable and high performing computing options, Rescale helps enhance our core set of leading simulation products with a robust, secure, online service available across their global network.”

The companies will be hosting a webinar on utilizing NX solvers on Rescale on October 28th. Register here.
