As of June 2022, ASSESS is part of NAFEMS. ASSESS brings together key players to guide and influence the software development and implementation strategies related to model-based analysis, simulation and systems engineering, with the primary objective of expanding the use and business benefit of engineering simulation, the organizations note.

They hosted an open webinar recently, "Leading the Future of Engineering Simulation with ASSESS and NAFEMS," which is now available to view for free here.

The new vision of ASSESS and NAFEMS is; “To lead every aspect of engineering simulation toward a more valuable and accessible future in the medium to long term, leveraging the expertise and knowledge of top-level figures in industry, government, and academia.”

To achieve this vision, the groups are seeking input to know what interested parties think about ASSESS activities, and the future direction of the initiative.

Here's a survey that may take approximately 2 minutes to complete to let the organizations hear thoughts on what they're doing, and inviting those interested to get involved with ASSESS.
