COMSOL Announces Focus Sessions for 2015 Conference

COMSOL, a provider of multiphysics modeling and simulation software, has released new Focus and Training Sessions for its 11th annual COMSOL Conference. The North American event will run from October 7 to 9 in Boston.

Focus Sessions are talks presented by area experts that let attendees share insights on specific simulation-related topics. This year's sessions include:

  • Best Practices in Acoustics Simulation
  • Best Practices in Heat Transfer and Phase Change Simulation
  • Best Practices in Electromagnetic Simulations
Additionally, Training Sessions offer hands-on experience with COMSOL Multiphysics and cover multiphysics, optimization, solvers and more. Some courses include:
  • Introduction to COMSOL Multiphysics
  • Application Builder and the COMSOL Server
  • Heat Transfer: Conduction, Convection and Radiation
  • Electromagnetics: High and Low Frequency Modeling
  • Computational Fluid Dynamics: Laminar and Microfluidic Flow; Turbulent and High Mach Number Flow
