Hexagon AB Acquires Q-DAS

Hexagon AB, a provider of information technologies, has acquired Q-DAS. The company is a developer of Statistical Process Control solutions for industrial manufacturing.

This acquisition, according to the company, allows expansion in the areas of manufacturing software. Hexagon will now be able to provide more accurate observation and evaluation platforms, it states.

“Adding Q-DAS to the Hexagon family has many advantages,” said Hexagon President and CEO Ola Rollén. “Not only does it provide the opportunity to increase the value of our MMS solution but also adds growth opportunities for our business, enabling increased market penetration of Q-DAS solutions through our global presence and customer network.”
