NASCAR Technical Institute-Mooresville, N.C (NASCAR Tech), is inviting prospective students, alumni, employers, businesses, community leaders and media to the National TechTrade Expo. This event is accessible to anyone interested in learning more about NASCAR Techtraining programs which include automotive, computer numerical control (CNC) machining, robotics and automation, welding, and heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR). NASCAR TechCampus President Robert Kessler will be hosting this major event.

NASCAR Tech is a subsidiary of Universal Technical Institute, Inc., a national provider of technical training. NASCAR Technical Institute (NASCAR Tech) is a technical training school to combine a complete automotive technology program and a NASCAR-specific motorsports program. The school is the exclusive educational partner of NASCAR. 

Universal Technical Institute is hosting this nationwide in-person event on Saturday, Oct. 21, at 16 UTI campuses. The National TechTrade Expo, which is open to the public, is designed to give attendees an opportunity to learn more about UTI and NTI’s programs, the demand for skilled trade workers, meet with campus leaders and instructors. Attendees will get an up-close look at exciting and rewarding career opportunities in several skilled-trades industries. NASCAR Tech guests will experience the following:

  • Visits to hands-on training labs
  • Campus tours to meet instructors and staff committed to student success.
  • LIVE demos, including but not limited to: 
  • Virtual welder demos
  • Automotive dynamometer (a device that measures the force, torque, or power in a vehicle)
